Hoe Futures Prop Firma's Werken
Futures prop firms volgen een eenvoudig model: je betaalt een eenmalige evaluatie fee om toegang te krijgen tot een gesimuleerde trading account met echte marktdata. Tijdens de evaluatie moet je een winstdoel bereiken met inachtneming van de maximale drawdown limieten en positiegrootte regels. De meeste firma's bieden een evaluatieproces in één of twee stappen, en sommige bieden directe financiering zonder dat een evaluatie vereist is.
Zodra je de evaluatie hebt doorstaan, ontvang je een gefinancierde account (vaak een "sim-funded" account genoemd) waar je echte marktdata verhandelt met het gesimuleerde kapitaal van de firma. De winst wordt verdeeld tussen jou en de firma, meestal variërend van 80% tot 100% in het voordeel van de trader. Futures prop trading verschilt op een aantal belangrijke manieren van forex. Positiegroottes worden gemeten in contracten (mini's en micro's) in plaats van lots.
