01Company Background
ForTraders was founded in 2023 and operates through two entities. FT Trading Ltd, in the Sotheby Building, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia, is the simulation entity named in the site's copyright. BLN Tech Club DMCC (registration DMCC196633), in the Goldcrest Executive Building, JLT, Dubai, handles operations. The terms are governed by Czech law with jurisdiction in the Czech courts, which matches neither registered entity — the firm also runs a development and marketing office in Prague.
The firm is explicitly unregulated and describes itself as "a SaaS educational trading simulation and evaluation company that does not collect customer deposits or offer financial services." All accounts use virtual money. No founder or executive is named on any official page.
On the regulatory question we went further than a search box. We grepped complete downloaded warning lists from Switzerland's FINMA (2,315 entries), France's AMF (6,897 plus 3,454 on the ACPR blacklists), the US SEC's PAUSE and Harmed Investors lists (5,079 combined), Malaysia's SC alerts (3,119) and the Philippines SEC (913), and additionally searched the FCA, FSMA, BaFin, ASIC, CNMV, the Canadian CSA and the Czech CNB. **There is no warning against this firm anywhere.**
Two name collisions circulate online and should not be mistaken for warnings against this company. The FCA published a warning titled "Fortraders" in January 2021 — that targets fortraders.io, a different domain, two years before this firm existed. CONSOB blacklisted "ForTradersFx Ltd" in 2020, a Marshall Islands entity on entirely different domains. Neither concerns fortraders.com.
One more thing worth knowing: the domain shows a 2003 creation date but was acquired at a drop-catch registrar in November 2023. This is a 2023 business, not a twenty-year-old one.
02Challenge Types & Pricing
ForTraders sells 46 plans across three markets. Prices shown on its site already include a standing 15% public discount.
On forex, Fast is the flagship one-phase evaluation: a 9% target, 3% daily loss and a 6% trailing drawdown, from $49 at $6K to $469 at $100K, with an 80% split and no consistency rule. Fast Static swaps the trailing drawdown for a static one at a 10% target and a higher price. Classic is the two-phase option at 8% then 5% with an 8% static drawdown.
Pay After Pass is the cheapest way in at $9, with the real fee ($189 to $999) charged only once you pass — and never if you fail. It asks only a 2% target but applies a 20% consistency rule.
Instant skips evaluation at a 70% split with a 15% consistency rule and seven profitable days required. Instant Pro is the outlier: no daily loss limit at all, no consistency rule, and a profit split that starts at 60% and climbs 10% with each payout up to 100%.
The crypto line runs on 70+ pairs trading 24/7 including weekends. Crypto Fast PRO is the pick of them — a 6% target, no daily loss limit, and a 90% split, the highest base split on the site — though it carries a 35% consistency rule and a tight 4% end-of-day trailing drawdown.
Futures cover 45+ CME, COMEX, CBOT and NYMEX contracts on DXtrade (branded "For Traders X") with dollar-denominated targets and drawdowns, an 80% split and a 40% consistency rule during evaluation. No plan on the site has a time limit.
03Trading Rules Analysis
The day-to-day rules are permissive. Expert Advisors and bots are allowed, scalping is not banned, and weekend and overnight holding are permitted. News trading is unrestricted during evaluation; on funded forex accounts you cannot open new trades within five minutes either side of high-impact news, though holding an existing position through is fine. Crypto accounts have no news restriction.
Prohibited are martingale and recovery patterns, high-frequency trading, latency and tick arbitrage, and copying other people's trades or using third-party account management — copying between your own ForTraders accounts is allowed. Hedging is not named directly, but the terms prohibit simultaneously entering opposite positions as a manipulation tactic, so treat it as restricted.
Consistency rules vary sharply by product: 20% on Pay After Pass, 15% on Instant, 35% on Crypto Fast PRO, 40% on futures, and none at all on Fast, Fast Static, Classic and Instant Pro.
Three clauses in the terms are not surfaced in the marketing and matter more than any of the above. Clause 11.1 prohibits reaching more than 70% of your profit target through a single trade, or through multiple trades on the same symbol in the same direction — a concentration limit that can invalidate an otherwise clean pass. Clause 10.5 allows the firm to act on breaches "regardless of when discovered — even weeks or months prior", with the power to reset the account, cancel accrued profits or terminate outright. And clause 13.2 states that passing the challenge "does not constitute an entitlement to membership": the firm may decline any client for any or no reason.
04Payout Process
Payouts are bi-weekly on Fast, Fast Static, Classic, Instant and Instant Pro, and on demand for Pay After Pass, Crypto Fast PRO and every futures plan. The minimum is generally $100, and payment is by bank transfer through Rise or in USDC on ERC20.
The firm advertises a 48-hour payout guarantee with a genuinely unusual term attached: miss the window and the trader keeps 100% of the reward, with the firm forfeiting its share. The claimed average is 14 hours. Instant and Pay After Pass accounts require a profit buffer above the starting balance ($180 to $6,000 by size) before the first reward, and there is a per-cycle cap of $15,000 on forex.
Two terms qualify the guarantee substantially. Clause 17.4 caps any reward at $30,000 per trade idea and — more importantly — states that rewards are "discretionary, not guaranteed, and subject to the Platform's sole approval", with the firm free to "approve, adjust, delay, or decline" them.
KYC is performed once, immediately before the first reward, through Veriff — nothing is required before you trade. Clause 16 additionally allows the firm to require a verification video call in situations it determines, which you must book within 48 hours and may reschedule only once; failure to attend is treated as refusal to cooperate and is grounds to deny payment.
05True Cost Analysis
Pricing is competitive, especially with the standing discount already applied to displayed prices. A $100K forex Fast at $469 before discount (about $398 after the public 15%) is mid-market, and the crypto line is cheaper still — Crypto Fast PRO at $289 for $100K is among the lowest prices for a 90% split anywhere.
Pay After Pass deserves its reputation: $9 to attempt, with the real fee due only on success. If you fail, that is all you lose.
The costs to plan around are elsewhere. There are no refunds at all: the terms rule out refunds for cancellation, failure or breach, and the EU's 14-day withdrawal right is extinguished the moment you open your first demo trade. No reset product appears anywhere on the official site, so a failed account means buying again. There is no free trial — the only free route in is the firm's weekly tournaments.
On promo codes, be careful with anything you find circulating. ForTraders publishes its own codes and states plainly that partner codes are "always at least as good as anything distributed through partners" and never better. The public codes at the time of writing were TRADE15 for 15% (already baked into displayed prices), NEW20 at 20% for new customers, and NEWINSTANT and NEWPRO at 50% on specific products, with only one code usable per order. The code we list on this page, DECFE4HIZ5, is an affiliate referral code rather than a public discount code — we cannot verify what discount, if any, it carries, and by the firm's own statement it will not beat the public codes. Check both at checkout and use whichever is better for you.
06Who Should Use ForTraders?
ForTraders suits traders who want genuine breadth — forex, 70+ crypto pairs trading through weekends, and CME futures under one account system, across four platforms — and who like picking a rule structure rather than accepting one. Instant Pro's path from a 60% to a 100% split is distinctive, as is Crypto Fast PRO's 90% base split with no daily loss limit.
US traders are accepted here, which narrows their alternatives considerably, and Pay After Pass at $9 is among the lowest-risk ways to test any prop firm.
We would be cautious about it for traders intending to build a large balance before withdrawing, given that screening happens at the reward stage and the terms permit retrospective enforcement and discretionary refusal. Anyone who weighs independent review evidence heavily should also note that the Trustpilot score is unavailable, so the usual check is not open to you.
07Alternatives
Traders attracted by the multi-market breadth should compare against FTMO, which is more expensive but has an uncontested review record and a far longer history, and FundedNext or FundingPips for comparable pricing on forex with cleaner payout reputations.
For crypto specifically, CryptoFundTrader offers more pairs but carries a FINMA warning-list entry, so it is not a straightforward upgrade. For futures, US traders are generally better served by Topstep or Take Profit Trader, which operate domestically under clearer frameworks.
What ForTraders uniquely offers is the combination of all three markets, four platforms, the $9 Pay After Pass entry and Instant Pro's route to a 100% split. If those specific features are the draw, weigh them against the payout-stage concerns below.
