01Company Background
Funded Trader Markets operates from Dubai. Its About page names Formed Technologies INT FZCO, incorporated in the UAE under registration number 36580 at Building A1, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, as the company that holds the group's cTrader and TradeLocker platform arrangements, and it states that this company is the contracting entity for all clients.
The firm says all trading activity runs on simulated (virtual) accounts, and that it is not a broker, the firm calls what a trader receives a performance reward, paid on simulated profit. Capital is capped per trader at up to $1,000,000 in simulated funds across programs, split into $600,000 for evaluations and $400,000 for instant accounts.
02Challenge Types & Pricing
1 Step Nitro is the one-phase evaluation, sold in six sizes from $5K to $200K at one-time list prices of $80, $116, $236, $480, $622 and $1,096. The profit target is 10% of the initial balance with no minimum trading days and no time limit, and the daily loss limit is 4% of the initial balance. The overall drawdown is 6% and trails the highest recorded balance until the account is up 6%, after which it stays fixed at the initial balance. To pass, a single day's profit may not exceed 50% of the phase's profit target. The $300K account is listed on its own as 1 Step Nitro 300K, at $1,622, because the firm states a 3% daily loss limit there against 4% on the other Nitro sizes.
2 Step Plus has two phases with targets of 8% and 5%, a static 10% overall drawdown, a 4% daily loss limit and a minimum of 3 trading days in each phase. It is sold in six sizes, $5K to $200K, at $100, $152, $392, $784, $997.50 and $1,872.50, with no time limit and no consistency rule in either phase or on the funded account. The funded split starts at 70%. A 90% split add-on chosen at checkout costs no extra fee but brings the Shield Risk Protocol, a floating loss limit of 1% of the account, into the evaluation: a first breach is soft and a second one fails the evaluation.
The three instant accounts skip the evaluation and are funded on purchase, in five sizes from $5K to $100K. Instant Standard costs $52 to $723 with a 5% trailing drawdown. Instant Pro costs $43 to $600 with a 3% trailing drawdown. Instant Plus costs $62 to $884 with a 6% drawdown that trails until the account is up 6% and is then fixed at the initial balance. All three have a 3% daily loss limit.
The firm's own FAQ also states the rules of a 1 Step Nitro X program. As the firm words it, Nitro X has a 6% profit target, a 3% daily loss limit and a 3% overall drawdown measured from the peak balance, fixed at the initial size once the account is up 3%. The funded account pays a 100% lifetime split with 50% of total profits kept in the account as a buffer, caps each reward at $5,000 per request, applies a 25% single-day consistency rule (none in the challenge phase) and has a maximum allocation of $300,000. No price is listed for Nitro X alongside the other programs, so it has no row in the comparison table.
03Trading Rules Analysis
The firm states that news trading is allowed on every program, as is holding positions overnight and over the weekend. Trading bots are permitted on all accounts and phases, except high-frequency, news scalping, tick scalping, reverse and latency arbitrage, multi-account reverse trading and demo-server exploit bots, and emulators. Trade copiers are allowed for your own trades, including trades copied from another firm or a retail broker; copying other traders, trading signals or running the same bot as another trader at the firm is not allowed. The firm's copier is not available on TradeLocker accounts.
Hedging and martingale are allowed inside a single account but not across accounts, and hedged positions cannot be held overnight on instant accounts and funded accounts. Positions may not be opened within 5 minutes before the rollover and closed within 5 minutes after it, and profit from that is ineligible for rewards. A trade closed in under 1 minute has its profit voided: on funded and instant accounts the account is not breached, while in a challenge more than 20% of profit from such trades means redoing the challenge. After a partial close, the rest of the position must be closed the same trading day, and positions opened within 15 minutes of each other on one instrument count as a single aggregated position when the partial-close rule is applied.
Daily limits are measured at 5 PM EST: the higher of balance or equity, minus the daily percentage of the initial balance, sets that day's stop-out level. A margin call at 110% blocks new trades and a stop out at 100% closes all positions without breaching the account. Only one trader per household and IP address is allowed; a VPN on the trading platform is allowed outside the restricted countries, while purchases, KYC and dashboard access through a VPN or VPS are not. An account with no activity for 30 consecutive calendar days can be terminated.
04Payout Process
Rewards are on demand on every account. A reward needs 5 trading days of at least 0.5% profit, and each request must be at least 1% of the initial balance, before the split. All trades must be closed before you request, and the firm states that an approved request is processed and sent within 24 business hours. Payment is in USDT on the TRC20 network, or through Rise by crypto or bank transfer; a 5% processing fee applies to crypto requests.
The split depends on the program. Funded 1 Step Nitro pays 90% on the first $10,000 of profit and 80% after that, with no single day above 45% of total profit. 2 Step Plus pays 70% to start, or 90% with the checkout add-on, and has no consistency rule. Instant Standard and Instant Pro pay 50% on the first reward, then 60%, 70% and 80% from the 4th reward on, and Instant Plus starts at 80%; all three allow no single day above 15% of total profit. The Shield Risk Protocol, a floating loss limit of 1% of the account, applies on Instant Plus and on funded 2 Step Plus: when it is breached all positions close and the split (trader share first) steps down to 50/50, then 40/60, 30/70 and permanently 20/80.
Withdrawals interact with the drawdown. Once a Nitro or Instant Plus account is up 6%, its limit is fixed at the initial balance, so in the firm's $100,000 example with $6,000 of profit a full withdrawal leaves no drawdown room and breaches the account, while withdrawing $4,000 leaves $2,000 of room. Partial withdrawals are not allowed on Instant Standard and Instant Pro; after a full withdrawal their drawdown resets to its initial level and a free account of the same size is issued, with no buffer required. KYC is required: funded accounts stay read-only until it is complete, due within 2 weeks of passing.
05True Cost Analysis
On the official pages checked on 2026-10-05, every price is a one-time list price in dollars, and none of the five programs carries an activation fee; the firm's FAQ says Nitro X has a one-time activation fee after passing, with no amount published; the firm's FAQ says Nitro X has a one-time activation fee after passing, with no amount published. 1 Step Nitro costs $80 for $5K, $480 for $50K and $1,096 for $200K, and 1 Step Nitro 300K costs $1,622. 2 Step Plus costs $100 for $5K and $1,872.50 for $200K. The instant accounts cost $43 to $62 for $5K.
Around the fee, the firm lists a performance bonus equal to 100% of the purchase fee with the 3rd performance reward on the evaluations; the instant accounts and Nitro X are excluded. The 90% split add-on on 2 Step Plus costs no extra fee. Trading costs are a commission of $7 per lot round turn on forex and commodities, none on indices and cryptocurrency, and swap-free accounts. A 5% processing fee applies to crypto reward requests.
06Who Should Use Funded Trader Markets?
The lineup suits a trader who wants to choose a structure rather than follow a single path: one phase with a 10% target and a consistency rule, two phases with no consistency rule, or an instant account with no evaluation. Prices start at $43, so a trader who wants a funded account on purchase can start small.
Traders who rely on news trading, overnight and weekend positions, copiers for their own trades or bots outside the prohibited types are covered by the allowed list; strategies built on rollover-window trades, profit from trades closed in under 1 minute or hedging across accounts do not fit the rules. The maximum allocations are $300,000 on Nitro and on 2 Step Plus, $200,000 on Instant Standard and $100,000 on Instant Pro and Instant Plus.
