01Company Background
TopOne Trader is the trade name of Top One Trader, LLC. Its Terms and Conditions give the registered office as Hamchako, Mutsamudu, on the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of Comoros, and quote the line "International Brokerage and Clearing House License #: L15829/TOT".
The Terms describe challenge performance as simulated and say a trader who is granted a funded account receives a live simulated trading account under a separate agreement with Top One Funding. The 1-Step FLASH payout article titles that stage Funded Account (Simulated).
The max-allocation help article gives $600,000 as the maximum initial allocation for each individual or household and $5 million as the maximum scaling capital. The figures on this page come from the official pages checked on 2026-09-30.
02Challenge Types & Pricing
1-Step FLASH is the single-phase evaluation: a 10% target, a 4% daily loss limit and a 7% drawdown that trails the closing balance until the account is up 7%, then locks at the starting balance. It needs 3 profitable days of at least 0.5% each and has no time limit or consistency rule. Six sizes from $5,000 to $200,000 are listed at $64, $107, $215, $286, $575 and $1,079.
2-Step PRO has 8% and 5% targets, a static 9% maximum loss and a 4% daily limit measured from balance or equity at 5pm EST, whichever is higher. Each phase asks for 3 profitable days of 0.5%, trades must stay open at least 5 minutes, and evaluation leverage is 100:1 on forex. Seven sizes from $5,000 to $300,000 are priced at $69, $162, $209, $435, $541, $863 and $1,398.
Nova costs $7 to start at every size from $25,000 to $300,000. Its single phase has a 5% target, a 6% trailing drawdown that locks at the starting balance, and no daily loss limit or time limit; evaluation resets are free and unlimited. An activation fee is due within 30 days of passing, from $165 at $25,000 to $1,210 at $300,000.
Instant Funding and Instant Prime skip the evaluation and come in six sizes from $5,000 to $200,000. Instant Funding is listed at $135 to $2,537 with a 6% trailing drawdown and a 3% daily loss limit. Instant Prime is listed at $94 to $1,776 with a 5% trailing drawdown and, for accounts bought on or after October 25, 2025, a 2.5% daily loss limit.
03Trading Rules Analysis
News and automation rules change with the stage. During the evaluation on 1-Step FLASH, 2-Step PRO and Nova, news trading is open and a trader's own unique EA is permitted. On funded 1-Step FLASH accounts, trades may not be executed or closed within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news; news trading is not allowed on funded 2-Step PRO and Nova accounts. EAs, bots and external API tools are not permitted on funded accounts. Instant Funding does not allow news trading, and Instant Prime offers it as an add-on. Weekend holding is allowed on FLASH, 2-Step PRO and Nova, and is an add-on on the two instant accounts, which allow overnight holding.
Every trade needs a stop loss; an entry without one is closed automatically as a soft breach unless the No Stop Loss add-on was bought. Equity Shield closes open trades in most cases when the daily loss on open positions passes 2% for one symbol or 2.5% across all symbols. Funded 1-Step FLASH, Instant Funding and Instant Prime accounts cap lots at 20% of account size, up to 20 lots, and funded 1-Step FLASH accounts void profit above a 3% daily cap without a breach. Soft breaches are limited to 8 on 2-Step PRO, 10 on Instant Funding and 5 on Instant Prime, and on 1-Step FLASH and Instant Prime 30 days without a trade is a hard breach (Nova accounts inactive for 30 days may be closed).
The Terms prohibit high-frequency trading and tick scalping, hedging between accounts, arbitrage against another account, account rolling or churning, third-party strategies and multiple IP addresses; a help article adds Martingale and latency-based trading. Instruments are forex pairs, indices, XAUUSD, XAGUSD, BTCUSD and ETHUSD, and individual stocks cannot be traded.
04Payout Process
A funded 1-Step FLASH account allows its first payout 14 days after the account is received, then one every 14 days, or weekly with the Weekly Payout add-on, after 3 profitable days of at least 0.5%. The split is 80%, or 90% with the upgrade add-on, and the minimum payout is 2% of the initial balance, such as $1,000 on a $50K account. A payout request locks the drawdown at the starting balance. Net profit and withdrawals are capped at $25,000 in any rolling 30 days across all of a trader's accounts.
Funded 2-Step PRO pays 85% (up to 100% with an add-on) every 14 days, with a minimum of 3% of the initial balance ($150 at $5,000 to $9,000 at $300,000) and a limit of 6% of account size per request, capped at $15,000. Instant Funding starts at 60% and rises 10 points per payout to 90%, with a first payout after 30 days and a 15% limit on the largest profitable day's share of total profit. Instant Prime pays 80%, 90% and then 100% every 14 days, and Nova funded pays 90% every 14 days; both require an ESS of 20% or lower, the firm's measure of the largest winning and losing days against total profit.
Payouts run through RiseWorks by bank transfer or cryptocurrency, need a linked and verified Rise account, and carry a 2% processing fee. After a pass, KYC instructions arrive by email and a risk review follows; the process typically takes 1 to 2 business days, up to 5 when many challenges are passed. Payouts are typically processed within 24 to 48 business hours, and on the 1-Step FLASH, Instant Funding and Instant Prime payout pages a video interview may be requested before a withdrawal.
05True Cost Analysis
Every list price is one payment in US dollars. On the official pages checked on 2026-09-30, 1-Step FLASH costs $64, $286 and $1,079 at $5,000, $50,000 and $200,000; 2-Step PRO costs $69, $435 and $1,398 at $5,000, $50,000 and $300,000; Instant Funding costs $135, $586 and $2,537 and Instant Prime $94, $410 and $1,776 at $5,000, $50,000 and $200,000. Nova asks $7 to start plus an activation fee of $165 to $1,210, paid within 30 days of passing.
Resets are priced by size and must be requested within 14 days of the breach; an account that has received an approved payout cannot be reset. 1-Step FLASH phase 1 resets run from $15.20 to $485.10 and funded resets from $95 to $1,500. On 2-Step PRO, phase 1 resets run from $11 to $629, phase 2 resets from $36 to $2,097 and funded resets from $96 to $5,592. Nova evaluation resets are free, and its funded resets range from $126.65 to $849.
The Terms describe the challenge fee as a one-time payment for a service delivered at purchase. Separately, the 2-Step PRO v2 payout article lists a 100% refund of the evaluation fee on the 4th approved payout. Add-ons exist for weekly payouts, a higher split, weekend holding and No Stop Loss, and on Instant Prime for news trading and 100:1 forex leverage (not on TradeLocker); payouts carry the 2% RiseWorks fee.
06Who Should Use TopOne Trader?
1-Step FLASH suits a trader who wants one phase with no deadline, and 2-Step PRO one who prefers a fixed 9% drawdown level. Nova fits someone who wants to test the evaluation for $7 with free resets and pay the activation fee only after passing. Instant Funding and Instant Prime give a funded account straight away.
The rules suit a manual style with a stop loss on every entry: EAs and bots are for the evaluation only, news restrictions apply on funded accounts, and HFT, tick scalping and Martingale are prohibited. On the other four programs TradeLocker starts at $10,000 and MatchTrader and MT5 at $5,000 (Nova runs on TradeLocker and MT5 only, from $25,000), and MT5 is not offered in the United States, Canada, U.S. Outlying Territories or Puerto Rico.
Citizens or residents of 26 listed countries cannot use the services; the full list is in the FAQ below. KYC follows a passed challenge.
