Maven Trading offers four distinct evaluation paths. The 1-Step Challenge requires an 8% profit target with 5% trailing drawdown and 3% daily drawdown, with no minimum trading days. The 2-Step Challenge has 8%/5% profit targets across two phases with 8% overall drawdown, 4% daily drawdown, and requires 3 minimum profitable days. The 3-Step Challenge features modest 3%/3%/3% targets but with tight 3% max drawdown and 2% daily drawdown. The Instant Funding program skips evaluation entirely with 3% trailing drawdown, 2% daily drawdown, 20% consistency score requirement, and 1% max open risk.

Maven Trading operates with 75:1 leverage across all programs. Daily drawdown is measured as EOD (End of Day) based on balance or equity. The 1-Step uses trailing drawdown from highest equity, while the 2-Step uses static overall drawdown. News trading and weekend holding appear to be permitted. The firm recently removed the Martingale rule in January 2026, giving traders more flexibility. However, spreads have been reported as wider than industry average, typically 0.8-1.2 pips on major pairs.

Payouts are processed every 10 business days with traders receiving 80% of their simulated profits. There is a minimum withdrawal requirement of 3% of the account balance. All challenge fees are refundable on the third withdrawal milestone, with Mini accounts receiving refunds on the first withdrawal. Maven does not disclose its liquidity providers or brokerage sources.

Maven's pricing is extremely competitive. The 3-Step $2K at $13 and the 1-Step $2K at $15 are among the cheapest challenge fees in the prop industry. The 2-Step $100K at $440 is competitive for the account size. However, the wider spreads (0.8-1.2 pips) effectively add hidden costs for active traders, estimated at $70-$110 extra per standard lot. The fee refund on the 3rd withdrawal means traders must demonstrate consistent profitability before recouping their investment.

Maven Trading is ideal for budget-conscious traders who want to start prop trading with minimal capital. The $13 entry point on the 3-Step Challenge is among the cheapest in the industry. The Instant Funding option suits traders who want to skip evaluation entirely. The 2-Step program appeals to traditional evaluation seekers who prefer static drawdown. However, the tight drawdown limits on 3-Step and Instant programs leave little margin for error.
