About AtmosFunded

AtmosFunded launched on 11 November 2024 and operates through two entities. AtmosFunded Ltd is registered in Cyprus (HE471627) at Naxou 1, Strovolos, Nicosia, and is the contracting party. The trading services themselves come from Atmos Global Ltd, registered in the Union of the Comoros under licence BFX2025060. The firm describes itself as fully owned and operated by Taurex, which also supplies the trading infrastructure. That association is real and worth something — Taurex Limited is authorised by the UK FCA under firm reference 816055, and Taurex holds further licences in Seychelles, the UAE and South Africa. But it needs a precise reading: none of those regulated Taurex entities is the counterparty to an Atmos challenge. Atmos states plainly that it is "neither licensed, authorised, nor regulated by any financial regulatory authority" and that all trading happens in a demo environment with virtual funds. The Comoros licence deserves scrutiny of its own. The Banque Centrale des Comores has publicly described the Mwali/Mohéli offshore registry that issues these licences as a fictitious entity with no legal basis to issue licences at all, a conclusion the IMF has echoed. Several competing firms migrated away from Comoros registration during 2026; Atmos has not. No executive or founder is named anywhere on the site. On the positive side of the ledger: we checked AtmosFunded, AtmosFunded Ltd, Atmos Global Ltd and Taurex against the FCA, CONSOB, CNMV, AMF, BaFin, FINMA, ASIC, CySEC, FSMA, MAS, FSCA and IOSCO warning lists and found nothing. Two FCA warnings that name Taurex are clone warnings against fraudsters impersonating it, and they confirm rather than undermine Taurex's own authorisation.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Owned and operated by Taurex, whose UK arm is FCA-authorised (FRN 816055)
  • No regulator warning found against Atmos or Taurex across 14 authorities checked
  • Trustpilot rating active and unsuspended — 3.7 from 353 reviews
  • 32 plans across six rule structures, all on MT5 with unlimited duration
  • EAs, bots and normal scalping explicitly allowed
  • Weekend and overnight holding permitted on challenge and funded accounts
  • No consistency rule on four of the six product lines
  • 1-Step Plus has no daily loss limit and a drawdown that resets rather than locking
  • Cheapest complete path to funding is $28 (2-Step Plus $5K)
  • Prices verifiable — help centre matches the live checkout exactly across all 32 plans

Cons

  • Requesting a full payout instantly breaches the drawdown on 1-Step Standard, Instant Funding and Nova — by design
  • Nova's $5 price excludes its real fee of $79-$1,029, charged when you pass
  • Trading counterparty is an unregulated Comoros entity; the Comoran central bank calls that licensing registry fictitious
  • Taurex's FCA and other licences do not cover the Atmos entity you contract with
  • US traders not accepted; 36 restricted jurisdictions including the UAE
  • 27% of Trustpilot reviews are one-star, recurring around account closure at the first payout
  • No founder or executive is named anywhere on the site
  • At least eleven contradictions between the firm's own official documents (leverage, payout timing, restricted countries, consistency rules)
  • The published route to the advertised 90% split does not exist — it is a paid checkout add-on
  • Terms allow unilateral changes to fees and challenge parameters at any time

Quick Summary

AtmosFunded offers six product lines across 32 plans, all on MT5, with an 80% base split and a $400K cap. The cheapest complete path is the 2-Step Plus $5K at $28. Trustpilot shows an active 3.7 rating across 353 reviews — not suspended — though 27% are one-star, with a recurring theme of accounts closed at the first payout. The two terms that catch people out are the drawdown lock on payout and Nova's fee being charged on passing, not at purchase.

01Company Background

02Challenge Types & Pricing

Six product lines, 32 plans, all on MT5 with unlimited duration and an 80/20 base split. 1-Step Standard runs $43 at $5K to $749 at $200K: a 10% target, 3% daily loss and a 6% trailing drawdown, with three trading days and three profitable days required. 1-Step Plus is the most distinctive product and the cheapest headline entry, from $37 at $10K to $175 at $150K, with an activation fee of $65 or $125 charged only after you pass. It carries a 6% target and no daily loss limit at all, but a tight 3% trailing drawdown and a 45% consistency rule at the funded stage. Crucially, it is the only product where the drawdown resets relative to your new balance rather than locking — see the payout section, because that single difference matters more than any price gap. 2-Step Standard ($63 to $989) uses conventional 10% and 5% targets with 5% daily and a 10% static drawdown. 2-Step Plus ($28 to $379) asks 6% in both phases with 3% daily and a 6% static drawdown, and pays its first reward on demand rather than after 14 days. At $28 for a $5K account it is the cheapest genuine route to a funded account here. Instant Funding ($75 to $649) skips evaluation entirely but applies a 20% consistency rule, a 5% trailing drawdown and a $200,000 allocation cap — the only line capped below $400,000. Nova advertises a $5 entry and is the product most likely to be misread. The $5 buys the evaluation; passing triggers a funded fee of $79, $184, $345, $569 or $1,029 by account size. A $100K Nova therefore costs $574 in total, more than the $383 all-in price of a $100K 1-Step Standard. Nova also carries a rule found nowhere else here: total risk per symbol, closed and floating combined, must stay under 1% in a single day. Discount codes explicitly do not apply to Nova, and its fees are non-refundable.

03Trading Rules Analysis

The rule set is comparatively permissive. Expert Advisors and bots are allowed, normal scalping is explicitly permitted, and weekend and overnight holding are allowed on both challenge and funded accounts. Hedging within a single account is fine; hedging across accounts is not. High-frequency trading is prohibited with an unusually concrete threshold: at least 50% of your trades must stay open longer than two minutes, with a maximum of 30 trades per hour and tick scalping — open and close within 15 seconds — banned outright. Martingale, grid trading and "chasing price" (reversing on the same asset within 90 seconds of closing) are all prohibited. News trading is restricted to a two-minute window either side of high-impact releases, and the penalty is a soft breach with profit deduction rather than account closure. Holding an existing position through the news is fine. Note that the Customer Agreement states five minutes where the help centre says two. Consistency rules apply to only two of the six products: 20% on Instant Funding and 45% on 1-Step Plus at the funded stage. The other four have none. A minimum trading day only counts if you open a trade and finish the day at least 0.5% in profit. Leverage is uniform across every product and size: 1:50 on forex, 1:15 on metals, 1:10 on indices and 1:2 on crypto. The binding Customer Agreement lists lower figures (30:1 on forex) and claims precedence over the website, but it also carries a price table that predates the Nova and Plus lines, so it appears simply to be out of date. Commission is $2.50 per lot per side.

04Payout Process

Payouts are bi-weekly on most products, with a $100 minimum, paid in USDT, Bitcoin or Ethereum, by bank wire, or as a transfer into a Taurex account. 2-Step Plus pays its first reward on demand immediately after funding, and Nova pays on demand once you have seven profitable funded days. Processing is stated as two to five business days, though the firm quotes shorter figures elsewhere on its own site. Payouts are made gross, with no withholding. The term that matters most is in section 6.8 of the Customer Agreement: on requesting a payout, your maximum trailing drawdown level locks at your starting balance. The firm's own help pages spell out the consequence: if you request a full payout, you instantly breach the total drawdown and lose the account, so you must leave a buffer behind to keep trading. This applies to 1-Step Standard, Instant Funding and Nova. On 1-Step Plus the drawdown resets against the new balance instead — the single most consequential difference between the products, and one buried in the help centre rather than shown on the pricing pages. The advertised "up to 90%" profit split also needs qualifying. The published split table has exactly one row, reading 80/20 as the default. A 90/10 split is sold as a paid add-on at checkout for an extra 15% of the plan price. The help centre separately suggests 90% comes with scaling, but no tiers, payout counts or thresholds are published anywhere, so there is no documented route to earning it. KYC exists and is paired with contract signing at the funded stage, but the document list, timing and turnaround are not published. Accounts are verified within 24 to 48 hours of passing.

05True Cost Analysis

Headline prices are competitive and, unusually, verifiable: the figures on the help centre match the live checkout API exactly across all 32 plans. 2-Step Plus at $28 for $5K and $379 for $100K undercuts most two-phase competitors, and 1-Step Plus at $149 for a $100K account is among the cheapest entries anywhere — though the $125 activation fee on passing brings the real total to $274. Nova is where the arithmetic misleads. The $5 price is an entry hook; the funded fee of $79 to $1,029 lands when you pass. Budget the combined figure, and note that Nova is excluded from every discount code and its fees are non-refundable from the moment of purchase. The firm advertises public promotional codes directly on its own site — SEPT for 12% off and WELCOME at 35% for first-time buyers were live when we checked, with codes that cannot be combined and never apply to Nova. These are AtmosFunded's own public offers rather than anything exclusive to us, and they change monthly, so check the current code on their promotions page at checkout. Refunds are available only if you have executed no trades and request within 14 days. The published exclusion list is garbled in the original, so treat the Customer Agreement's cleaner formulation — no trades executed, within 14 days — as the operative one. No reset fee is published anywhere, and no free trial exists.

06Who Should Use AtmosFunded?

AtmosFunded suits traders who want a broad menu of rule structures on MT5 and who value the Taurex association for infrastructure quality. The permissive stance on EAs, scalping and weekend holding is genuinely trader-friendly, and having four of six products carry no consistency rule is unusual. 1-Step Plus is the standout for anyone who dislikes daily loss limits and intends to withdraw regularly, precisely because its drawdown resets rather than locking. 2-Step Plus at $28 is the sensible first purchase for testing the firm at minimal cost. It is a poor fit for US traders, who are not accepted, and for residents of the 36 restricted jurisdictions, which include the UAE. It is also a poor fit for anyone who intends to withdraw their full balance on the first payout — on four of the six products that ends the account. And traders who need regulatory recourse should understand that the counterparty is an unregulated Comoros entity, with no compensation scheme behind it.

07Alternatives

Traders who want the same permissive rule set with a longer track record should look at FTMO, which is more expensive but far more established, or FundedNext and FundingPips, both of which compete directly on price with faster first payouts. The specific thing AtmosFunded offers that is hard to replicate is 1-Step Plus: no daily loss limit, a resetting drawdown and a $37 entry. If that structure is what draws you, there is no close equivalent elsewhere on our comparison. US traders cannot use AtmosFunded at all and should look at BrightFunded, which accepts them on DXTrade, or domestic futures firms such as Topstep and Take Profit Trader.

Final Verdict

6.6/10 — Average
PropFirm Key Expert Rating
AtmosFunded is a real, traceable operator with published legal entities, an FCA-authorised parent brand, no regulator warning anywhere we checked, an active and unsuspended Trustpilot rating, and a rule set more permissive than most of its peers. The pricing is competitive and independently verifiable across all 32 plans. On the evidence, it is a legitimate firm rather than a scam. The reservations are specific rather than general. The trading counterparty is an unregulated Comoros entity whose licensing regime the Comoran central bank itself calls fictitious, so the FCA authorisation attached to the Taurex name does not protect your account. The drawdown lock on payout makes withdrawing your full profit self-destructive on four of six products, and it is disclosed in the terms rather than on the pricing pages. Nova's real cost arrives after you pass. Its own documents contradict each other on at least eleven points, including leverage, restricted countries and payout timing. And while 61% of Trustpilot reviews are five-star, 27% are one-star, with a recurring account of a risk-team review at the first payout followed by closure. Our advice is practical: start on 2-Step Plus at $28 or 1-Step Plus, avoid Nova until you have seen the firm pay, never request a full payout on a product with the drawdown lock, and withdraw early and often rather than letting a balance accumulate.

FAQ

8 questions about AtmosFunded

No. Atmos states it is "neither licensed, authorised, nor regulated by any financial regulatory authority" and that all trading is in a demo environment with virtual funds. It is owned by Taurex, whose UK entity is FCA-authorised under FRN 816055, but that authorisation does not extend to the Atmos entity you contract with — trading services come from Atmos Global Ltd in the Comoros.
